I am getting comcast emails on my iPad, but not my desk-top.  There is a wavy line to the right of the word comcast on both my inbox and trash.  How do I fix this.  In responding please also send response to (personal information)

It sounds like you are using a desktop email client like Outlook or Thunderbird.  The symbol means the server for that account is not being reached by the client, or it's offline.  Wait a while and see if it comes back on it's own.
