Email without the xfinity page with news stories, videos, etc?

Email without the xfinity page with news stories, videos, etc?

is there a way to configure the Sign on page for comcast email without having all the videos, pictures and news and ads also showing up?  I would like to click email and just go to my inbox.  At times that circle just spins and spins. Instead of offering all the pictures, news and distractions please concentrate on e-mail improvements, options and custom features.  Sharman

Re: Email without the xfinity page with news stories, videos, etc?

There was a way, posted a number of years ago, but with this NEW & IMPROVED format of the forums, it's been wiped out from my settings bookmarks.

This new version has totally messed up my viewing / reading pleasure and left me floundering in the deep morass of these forums.

Re: Email without the xfinity page with news stories, videos, etc?

There is no way to configure the sign in page to go directly to email. However, there is an alternative.

You can create a shortcut on your desktop that opens email.

1) Go to your email. COPY the URL of the page.

2) On your desktop, RIGHT click in an empty space.
Select NEW/Shortcut.

3) PASTE the copied URL in the Location box. Click Next.

4) Give the shortcut a name.

5) Click Finish.

6) The shortcut will be on your desktop. Drag to where you want it to be.

7) Click the shortcut to bypass the home page and go directly to email. (or the sign in page. After signing in email will open)

OR

Add the email page to your favorites/bookmarks. If you need to sign in, that page will open first. After that email page opens.
