Why does my new email in the inbox suddenly move to other folders on it's own?

Where is the email being moved to exactly? Folders you created? Have you checked your email settings for that username.
Click on the Inbox, then click on Preferences. Next click on the Email icon. You will now she all your email settings. Check there and post back.

Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.

I solved this by switching to a POP3 account for our Comcast mail. The inbox was rerouted to unread folders or junk. My settings were correct. I checked them with Comcast several times. This was related to IMAP, in my opinion. Everything works now.
