How do I set my email so new email is on top?

Assuming you are using the default Full version of Xfinity Connect, and with the view set with the reading pane to the right:  right-click on any message in the list to get sorting criteria.  It will look like these two screenshots-------one is for "Sort by" and the other is for "Group by"--------------------------

If you are using another View option sorting is handled differently.
