Email "spam" from my own account

Email "spam" from my own account

my email is saying i have messages from my inbox either from myself, or an unknown "person" who's return email address is my own.  there's no body to the email, just a subject line like "earn 47/hr" or other nonsense.

 

this happened after i was thumbing through an email i thought was from my cousin and accidentally touched the link in the email - i didn't let safari open the webpage, i shut it down immediately but i think it is what caused this as my cousin's email was definitely not from her, something spammed her address book.

 

any suggestions?  i haven't had complaints of my address book being emailed, but i'm being emailed from myself.
