Email not sending

Email not sending

I'm having trouble sending emails. The emails are sitting in my Sent folder, but they did not go out. I copied myself on the emails and did not receive them in my inbox. I need help.

Re: Email not sending

Are you using only the Comcast webmail, or an email client like Outlook or Thunderbird?  Have you tried sending a test email to some other email account you have with another provider like AOL or Yahoo, etc?  If so does is get there OK?

Re: Email not sending

I am using Comcast email. I'm trying to send a blast email. I send the email to myself and add the customer email addresses in BCC. The emails are sitting in the Sent folder. They are not going out. ??

Re: Email not sending

I dont know what you mean by a "blast"message.  How many people are you trying to send to at one time?

Re: Email not sending

I have 888 contacts. I can only send to 50 at a time. So I send 18 emails with 50 email addresses in each one. Make sense?

Re: Email not sending

OK I'm not sure what's going on, unless you are sending to all of those people more than once a day.  The sending limit for a Comcast residential account is 1000 recipients per day.  The restrictions are here----------

http://customer.comcast.com/help-and-support/internet/limitations-on-sending-email/

You are really close to the limit from what you have said so far.  The thing is I don't know if it is supposed to generate an error message when you have reached the limit.  I will defer to any Employee who wants to jump in here.  But sending out that many emails you might need to consider getting a business class account.
