Email filters do not block any Spam

What is the purpose of the Spam button on the email tab if it doesn't actually block those same spammers?  Why do I need to create a filter for every instance of spam?

Using individual  filters to try to control spam doesn't work very well as spammers constantly change email addresses and content.  You are better off to just keep marking them as spam to help train the spam filters.  You may find this of interest--------------------
