Email and comcast.net home page

Email and comcast.net home page

I go to comcast.net and set comcast.net as a bookmark.

I come back later, click the bookmark and get re-directed to comcast.com.

When I get to comcast.com and click Email, I get redirected to comcast.net.

Then finally on comcast.net, I can click on Email where it opens up yet another page for logging in to email.

This is purely ridiculous.

What's with all the re-directs when all I want to do is check email? Why can't the email login page be set as a bookmark?

Thanks for whatever explanation you can offer!

Re: Email and comcast.net home page

I just created a bookmark in Firefox for

     https://web.mail.comcast.net

that takes me to the login page. It then goes to comcast.net where I can click on the Email button.

I got the same result in Chrome by bookmarking the page when reading email.

I agree that it would be great to bypass the front page and just go to your email. I don't want to see all the stuff on the front page. We have complained about it for years. No one listens. They want you to see the front page.

Maybe someone else has some ideas, but I don't think there's a way to do it.

Re: Email and comcast.net home page

Beth,

The comcast.net bookmark works at my house. At locations other than my house, the comcast.net bookmark gets re-directed to comcast.com. Then when I click on "EMAIL" I am re-directed once again to comcast.net where I then click "EMAIL" and finally get to the email login page..

Thanks!
