Email address

when I send an email, the sender address shows up as Comcast Email instead of my actual email address.  How can I fix this?

If you are talking about the webmail interface go to the link below and change it in Composing

You need to clarify what it is you are doing.  What do you mean by "actual email address"?  Are you trying to send from your Comcast account using a non-Comcast email address or what?  Are you trying to use an email client?

I am just sending emails from my Comcast account using my Comcast email.  Receivers are seeing the email from "Comcast Email" instead of my actual address such as jerry@comcast.net

Please click on Options at the botttom of your post and then on Edit and remove your email address.

 

From your Inbox, click on Preferences ---> Email ---> Composing.  Change to whatever you want from there.
