Re: Email Error message

Did either one of you just update to W10 Creator as I just did?

Thought it might have caused the error.

Re: Email Error message

I am sure glad I use Windows Mail.  I use Xfinity Mail because when using IMAP mail on my tablet and cell phone it clears the email on everything

but the Xfinity site and this gives me a backup.  I clear these emails about once a week and this error is making it a tedious chore having to do two steps

on every action.

Re: Email Error message

Did some further checking and Edge or Chrome do not have this problem.

Re: Email Error message

I have also encountered the AjxException NETWORK_ERROR problem (when using Internet Explorer 11) right after installing the Windows 10 Creators Update.

I have discovered a workaround/fix for this problem on my computer.

Under Tools->Internet Options->Advanced->(Security section), the Enable native XMLHTTP support checkbox is on (enabled) by default.  When I turn off (disable) this checkbox, the XFINITY Connect email application seems to work OK after refreshing the web page (or after closing the browser and starting over).

wmelfi - Thank you so very much!!!  Your solution appears to have worked.

Re: Email Error message

That works but I wonder if it will effect browsing in any way.  .  Don't fully understand what

I found on it.  Will try this workaround  until they can fix it or I notice any other problems that crop up.

Thanks for the info.

Re: Email Error message

wmelfi - your solution worked for me also. Thanks!

Xfinity's tier 3 tech support told me they had never seen this error before and had no solution for me other than to switch from IE to Edge or Chrome browser.
