Email Address vs. Web Page Address

I was just wondering why my email address ends with a .net (xxxx@comcast.net) and the webpage address ends with a .com (my.xfinity.com).

Re: Email Address vs. Web Page Address

Comcast made some changes to the servers from comcast.net to xfinity.comcast.com, but left the email servers at comcast.net.  Nothing to worry about.
