How can I change from a comcast POP account to a Comcast IMAP account?

Go to the email settings in whichever program yiu are using for email.

 

Change to:

 

incomg server: imap.comcast.net

Change Incomg port to Port 993 with SSL ON

Outgoing server remains 465 with SSL. ON

Outgoing Port is 46; with SSL. ON

THIS SERVER EQUIRES AUTHENTUCATION MUST BE CHECKED.

Do NOT check SOA (secure password authentication.

 

Know that if you use an email client and a snpmartphone, and tablet, make the changes in all of them, so they sync.

Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.
