E-mail forwarding

E-mail forwarding

I recently took over a business account, and just realized that the e-mails to the business account were still being forwarded to the previous owners e-mail account who I don't have access to.  The "Save Forwarded E-mails" option was checked, so is there someplace I can find where these old e-mails are without access to the actual forwarded e-mail address?

I've corrected the forwarding, but want to make sure I haven't missed any important e-mails regarding the business.  Thanks

Re: E-mail forwarding

If I'm reading you right, and that option was checked, there should be a copy of the emails in the Inbox folder of the account they were forwarded from.

Re: E-mail forwarding

Right.  The inbox of the Comcast account only has e-mails from 2014.  I changed the forwarding e-mail and sent a test e-mail, which worked and got sent to my personal e-mail, but there isn't a copy in the Comcast inbox.  There isn't another place they would be saved?

Re: E-mail forwarding

Not that I'm aware of.  That featue is only available when you set up auto-forwarding, and it's just a checkbox.  It doesn't give any options about where to send the copies.  If it's a business class account with Comcast, they have their own forums.  This one is for residential customers.  They might have better information-------------------
