E-mail address changed by system

E-mail address changed by system

I use a valid Comcast e-mail address to reach someone, only to have the message rejected with the notation that it could not be delivered to '(initals)@live.com

Nothing I have done seems to be able to circumvent tthis.

Aaaarrrrggghhh!!!

Re: E-mail address changed by system

That error indicates something is wrong with the recipient's email address.  Check it carefully to see if there is a character missing, or one that doesn't belong there.  Or maybe it's not a valid address any more.

Do you mean you sent to an @comcast.net address and got a bounce message referencing an @live.com address? If so, the owner of the @comcast.net adress might have the account set to forward mail to @live.com.

You may be on the mark. From this problem, I learned that he does have another address and is disabling it. Thanks for your input.

That appears to be the problem - user is not tech-savvy.
