Re: E-MAIL alerts

I think Comcast has removed that from the homepage.  A lot of people were having problems with it not reporting correctly.

Re: E-MAIL alerts

When I click on the email icon, I go to the email page which does indeed have all my emails (even though there is no number by the icon anymore), but at the top right of email page is notation "Hello, Guest" even though I am logged in on the home page. So Comcast does not know who I am anymore? Or where I live (on the main page it always give the temperature for Philadelphia even though I am in Salt Lake City.) Before all the "improvements" happened, it always knew who I was and where I lived.

Hoping that what is now offered is a Beta, and an honestly new and improved version will soon happen.

The "Guest" thingy is a known issue and has been around for about a year now.  It has no effect on your account;  it's just annoying.  As for your location, on the homepage click on Philadelphia and you will get to a page where you can change the location.  By default it will show Philadelphia because that's where the Comcast corporate headquarters is located.

Re: E-MAIL alerts

I click on homepage Philadelphia and change it to my zip location. All is good, but it seems not to "stick". Keeps going back to Philadelphia, sometimes even if I don't log out. Is there any way to make the change stay or be permanenent? Thanks for any help.

Try clearing out your browser's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close out the browser and re-start it in a fresh session.

If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser and see if you can duplicate the problem that way.
