Duplicate emails received

Starting about April 20 or 21 , 2017 with changes by Xfinity to the app and email formate on pc, I am now receiving duplicates of every email. immediately and automatically.  Can not find any setting that will change this.  Help!!!!  Frustrating!!!!

Re: Duplicate emails received

Are you using only the webmail UI with a browser, or a desktop email client like Outlook or Thunderbird?

Re: Duplicate emails received

Don't know what a UI means....but I am using Chrome and opening Xfinity from there. No Outlook or Other email program. But, my Android phone of course recieves the duplicates as well.  If I turn off my phone...off off....I still get duplicates via the PC and Chrome, or IE.  Thanks for asking ...and HELP!

OK...It's me, the guy originating this rant.

Somehow the duplicates stopped.!!

So, the lesson learned....Have patience and wait, I guess.

Or, maybe my sending feeback to Comacast via their site made a difference.....I do not know.

But, the dulicates are gone.

Thank goodness

Re: Duplicate emails received

My guess is that it had something to do with the phone.  Can't be sure of course.  But since you are not using a desktop client, there is no way to download anything to the computer.  Webmail is just that---a web page.  You just use the browser to look at it.  The phone has a mail app of some kind, and I suspect that is where the problem was because that is itself a client.   And UI means User Interface.
