Dragging Email to Folders

Dragging Email to Folders

I can no longer drag my emails to folders.  I have to use the MOVE feature.  Why did you disable this feature?

Re: Dragging Email to Folders

Some people are having this issue right now depending on which operating system you have, and what browser you are using.  Try using a different browser and see if that works.  I'm on a Mac and I can use drag and drop using Chrome or Firefox.

Re: Dragging Email to Folders

I am using PC Windows 10...I have tried Firefox, Goggle and Windows...it does not work in either one.  Is this something that is going to be repaired?  Most people are using Google because of Alexa.

Re: Dragging Email to Folders

I have reported it to the Comcast email team, but they are telling me that they cannot duplicate the problem reliably.  So for now, I don't know if any fix is forthcoming any time soon.

Did you try with a different browser as I mentioned up thread?  That seems to work for some people.  I can drag and drop or move in Chrome, or use the Move icon.

Re: Dragging Email to Folders

I do use Chrome...because I have Alexa but I cannot select an individual email and either move it to the Comcast saved folders or my personal folder automatically.  I have to select, go up and select the icon MOVE and then move it.  You use to be able just to highlight it and move it right over to the folder.

Re: Dragging Email to Folders

I agree. IT DOES NOT WORK!  How hard is it for the Comcast team to figure out.  We are use to moving emails without having to tap the icon MOVE.

BESIDES CHROME AND FIREWORK IN A NON-MAC GROUP, WHAT ELSE CAN WE TRY?
