Drag and Drop emails into folders

Drag and Drop emails into folders

With the old email design, I could open my inbox and look at all the emails I have.  Without opening an email, I could click on one and just drag it to my folders (on the left) and place it in a specific folder I had made previously for these emails from this source.  After doing so, it then would be removed from my inbox.  I do not seem to be able to do this now with the new design.  Please advise.  Thanks

Re: Drag and Drop emails into folders

If you are using IE-11 or Chrome, this is a known issue.  You can still use the Move icon in the toolbar to do the same thing.  It looks like a file folder with an arrow in it.

Re: Drag and Drop emails into folders

Using the move button to take an email and place it into a previously made folder with other emails from that source seems to be much more of a hassle than when I could just take an email and simply click on it and drag  it over to the folder. I thought xfinity was trying to make things easier and more user friendly.  This is not.

I agree...much easier to drag and drop.  Is xfinity looking to fix this soon?

"Soon" seems to be a relative term with Comcast.  I can tell you they are aware of it, and have said they are working on a fix.  But I have seen no fix date so far.
