Disappearing e-mail folders

HELP!  I had a lot of e-mail stored in folders in my account.  I seems to have lost a considerable number and only those in the Keep file have been retained.  Does anyone kow where the other folders went to?  Is there still a way to access them?  Thank you!

Re: Disappearing e-mail folders

In the left folders pane, to the left of "Mailboxes", there is a small black arrowhead.  Click on it and see if the folders reappear.   Do the same for any other folder that has the arrowhead to the left of it.

Thank you.  I tried this, the folders are still missing, but I appreciate your time.

Re: Disappearing e-mail folders

Check your deletion schedules to make sure they are set the way you want them. From the Inbox page, go to Preferences>>>>Email, and look about halfway down the list to "Email Deletion Schedules".  If the missing folder was a sub-folder of another one, it would be subject to the deletion schedule of the parent folder.  If it's not that, then as a precaution I would change your password to something stronger than whatever it is right now, and also change your secret question and answer. Suddenly vanishing emails is a common sign of a malware infection, or a compromised account. Run a complete scan of your machine with your A/V software to see if it finds anything wrong.
