Deleting all email that matches a search

How can I delete all emails that match a search -- instead of just the ones displayed?  Shift select all worked in the old email web version, but doesn't seem to work now.

Re: Deleting all email that matches a search

Did you try using the "Select all" box at the top of the message list, then using the Trash Can icon?

That's exactly what I did.  But only the emails displayed were deleted, and then a new set of emails matching the search showed up in the display list.

How many emails are we talking about?  The screen is a continuous scroll.  Try clicking on the first email in the list, then hold down the Shift key and scroll down to the last one and click on it to select it.  That will select everything in between.  Then hit the Trashcan icon.
