Deleted Email

Good Afternoon,

Question:  How can I permanently delete - deleted emails - so they do not show in the Recover Deleted Items File?

Re: Deleted Email

You can't.  After two weeks they are supposed to drop off by themselves.  Then they are permanently gone.

Re: Deleted Email

Is there a way to set the Recover Deleted Items so the emails actually dont show in two weeks?  I have email in it From March.

Re: Deleted Email

There is no way for you to adjust it.  It can be wonky at times.  Mine shows back 15 days right now, but at one time I had random messages in there that were 3 months old or more.  They eventually vanished though.  One thing to know-----------if messages are deleted by your deletion schedule in Preferences, they won't show up in the Recover feature.  Only messages you delete deliberately are supposed to be there.
