Create a contact with mouse right click

Create a contact with mouse right click

On the old email system, I could right click on an email id in an email and the list of options provided included creating a contact from the email id.  Is this still available in the new email system?  I can't find it.

The "collected addresses" does not work.  I don't know how it determines what email id to put in the "collected addresses," but the ones I want are not there.

Re: Create a contact with mouse right click

Instead of right-click, just click on the "From" name in the header.  If the person is not already in your address book you should get a large dialogue box and you will see the option to add it to your address book.

Re: Create a contact with mouse right click

Thank you.  This works for an email id in "From", which was my original question.  However, it does not work when the email id is in the body of an email, for example, when someone is sending me an email id that I do not have.   Doug

An email address in the body of a message is treated differently than one in the header.  It should open a new Compose window when you click on it.  If you right-click it, you should be able to copy it.
