Comcast email issue

A message I sent yesterday using my comcast email  failed to copy in my "sent" folder? I must have a copy of the email I sent and want to know how and when I may retrieve it?

If you are still in the old email format, from the Inbox page go to Preferences>>>>Email>>>>>Composing.  Is the box checked to save a copy to the Sent folder?  If you are in the new format it should have saved it by default.  You could also check the Drafts folder to see if it was saved there while you were composing it.
