Comcast Web Mail NOT WORKING in Internet Explorer 11

Comcast Web Mail not working in Internet Explorer 11 (Compatability Mode not working)


Recently Comcast Web Mail has stopped working in Internet Explorer 11.  Unfortunatley the proposed workaround to add the comcast.net to the compatability view list does not fix it.  The page stalls at loading with a blue ring.


The issue is the page is being rendered in "Documents Mode 5" instead of the correct IE9 Mode, though it would be best if the page could render in "Edge Mode" .  The web developers need to add a line of code to the page to tell IE how it should be rendered.  The issue can be manually and temporarly fixed for testing by pressing F12, selecting Emulation and changing the Document Mode from 5 (default) to Edge which strangley enough turns on IE9 emulation.


Comcast web mail Admins/Developers please add this line of code to the page (or fix the page to work in native IE11 Edge mode: https://web.mail.comcast.net/zimbra/mail?app=mail#​1

We are recieving reports from many of our corprate users experiencing this issue on our image systems and also on home computers with IE11 installed.
