Does this need to be done on ALL devices or just one eg pc?

You must change it on your PC, smartphonem, tablet,etc.

Here are the settings to use.  NOTE:  IF you want copies of your messages to remain on the Comcast server as well, check the box on all other devices to Leave a copy of messages on the server. Otherwise, they will be deleted from the server once downloaded to the other devices.  With IMAP< if you delete from one device, it will be deleted from all devices.

 

IMAP SETTINGS

 

Incoming server: imap.comcast.net

Incoming Port:  Port 993 with SSL  ON

Outgoing server:  smtp.comcast.net

Outgoing Port:  465 with SSL ON

Under the server tab:  This server requirws authentication must be checked

Do NOT check SPA (Secure password authentication)

Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
