Change of primary account ownership

Does anyone know what to do if the primary owner is deceased?

Do I need to bring a death certificate as proof to change ownership of the account to my name?

or can this be done over the phone?

thanks for any info

Re: Change of primary account ownership

If you want to change the name on the bill, you will need to take a certified copy of the death certificate and your ID to the local Comcast office if there is one in your area. This cannot be done online.

If you want to transfer USER ACCOUNT ownership it's a simple DIY. You will need to know the password of the current primary user account in order to transfer account ownership. If you do not know it, post back in this topic.
