CenturyLink and Embarqmail rejects

My emails to Centurylink & Embarqmail friends are being rejected by Comcast.

I get a failed delivery mesaage. These are friends I have been sending to for years. I reported this to Postmaster@comcast.net and it never gets resolved.

Re: CenturyLink and Embarqmail rejects

Try calling Comcast security.  If there is some kind of blocking issue they are the ones who can tell you----------------

Re: CenturyLink and Embarqmail rejects

Thanks,

I'll give them a call.

I have tried getting intouch with them before and they do dnot accept incoming calls.

They promise to call back but sometimes never do.

Re: CenturyLink and Embarqmail rejects

You'll have to contact CenturyLink or Embarqmail.  Our logs show they're rejecting the messages as spam when we attempt to deliver to their servers.

Re: CenturyLink and Embarqmail rejects

Thanks fior the phone number. Comcast was of NO HELP at all. After talking to them and getting nowhere they forced me to change my  password. I did that and still have th esame problem. They day  it's not there problem. I guess I'll have to find another ISP?

Re: CenturyLink and Embarqmail rejects

I posted above that we're attempting to deliver your messages to your recipients, but those servers are blocking your messages.  You're going to have to contact those ISPs, we don't have control over their anti-spam practices.

Re: CenturyLink and Embarqmail rejects

Trying to cantact CL or EB is almast as bad as trying to contact Comcast. One of the rejections is going to my neighbor so I wnet to his hous eand made sure he wasn't spam blocking me. That did not help. If CL & EB are blocking your emails then it is your servers problem or at least you could contact CL and probably get something done.

Re: CenturyLink and Embarqmail rejects

No, they're blocking your messages due to spammy content in your messages.  Most of the other messages go through just fine.  Let me see if I can find a way for you to contact them that is more direct.

Re: CenturyLink and Embarqmail rejects

You should be getting a bounce message from the Comcast systems.  Inside that should be bounce message.  Please forward that bounce message to postmaster@centurylink.net, that is their support staff, and they can start trying to determine what is going on.  If you can't find the bounce message, let me know, I can probably get one from our logs.
