Cannot send or receive emails

Cannot send or receive emails

I have two PCs that use Outlook to send/receive emails to/from Comcast/Xfinity.  On one PC, I can send/receive using the established user name and password without a problem.  On the other PC I can not get a connection to the email server.  Mail.Comcast.Net repeatedly asks for user name and password which I re-enter over and over without sccess.  What needs to be done to fix this?

I fixed the problem by re-entering the email configuration information: incoming and out going mail server, authentication, ports, email address and password, and it worked, no errors.  Somehow my configuration, though showing correctly, was corrupted.
