Cannot add new contacts to my Xfinity e-mail

Cannot add new contacts to my Xfinity e-mail

For past 5 days I have been unable to add new contacts on my iPhone or iPad. It repeatedly has said "System Upgrade - This may take a few minutes. Please try again later". Not sure what later means since it's been 5 days!! Anyone else having this problem?
