Can't send mail from Comcast server

I changed my Comcast password on my phone's email account, and then changed it on my Mac as well, but I cannot send email from my Comcast account; only receive it. However, I can send from my phone! What are the settings supposed to be?

Your password must be the same password on all accounts...Xfinity Connect, your Mac, and your phone.  Make sure tyeybarevALl using the same password.

I wouldvalsonclear your browser cache, then re-open it.

Your settings for your phone and Mac should be:IF USING POP

Port  995 with SSL  checked for incoming server

Port 465' they should be Oort 465 with SSL on

this server requires authentication must be checked.

If you use IMAP Servers, post back and I will post the correct settings for IMAP for you.

please copy/ paste any error messages yiu receive in your reply too.
