Can't send Comcast mail via iPhone

Can't send Comcast mail via iPhone

Can use my email online, but with the iPhone it's a problem. While I'm now able to receive Comcast mail via the phone, I can't send it -- each attempt tells me that my username or password is wrong and they are definately not.

Re: Can't send Comcast mail via iPhone

Try deleting the account from the phone and then re-enter it from scratch.  Let iOS auto-configure it for you.  It will detect it as IMAP compliant.  Mine shows port 993 for incoming SSL: on  Outgoing shows 587 SSL: on.  Authentication: password.  I have an iPhone 4s and no issues with the 3 Comcast accounts I have on it, running iOS 8.1.3
