Can't get e-mail size < 10 Gb

Can't get e-mail size < 10 Gb

I was recently forced in to the new e-mail web interface ( the one that is https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite/ instead of the good old one that ended in /zimbra/ I think). The Zimbra bar graph on the top left last said somethinkg like 8.5 out of 10 GB used. The first signon with appsuite gave the warning of over 98% of my 10 Gb. Clicking on the icon on the top right showed a bar graph with 10 out of 10 Gb. But wait ! It gets better ?  I sorted the inbox by size, and have been deleting away the largest ones (often pictures at 2 Mb each). Yes, after the e-mails are in trash I empty the trash. Then I logout and log back in. It stays at 10 GB used, so of course my inbound e-mails are bouncing. Is there a cure (the DSL install is already scheduled), but I can cancel it if I get a solution. Of course I called support; I'm here as on this forum as the last resort.

All we can do is escalate you to the forum admins for follow-up.  Something is wrong in your account.

Thank you dbster for providing your info. We are the corporate team for our Forums site. This is our forums site and I am an official employee as marked by the employee flair under my/our name. I'm following up for Max. 

 

Do you get an error code when deleting the messages? Can you confirm the messages are deleting completely when trying it on a different browser or maybe through the XFINITY Connect app?
