Can't access Xfinity email.

XFinity Connect: Full or Lite? Cannot determine. Win7 IEv11 E-mail program: Xfinity through Xfinity web site (My home page) I can enter the Xfinity web site...my home page. I can sign into any and all of the email accounts through the prompt in the upper right home page prompt...and sign out with no problem....until now. Now, I cannot get the email to open. Neither through the e-mail box there, nor by clicking on the Xfinity bar where it says "Xfinity Email. It used to be a box opens in the left side of the web where I click on the "email w/red number of emails and usually three lines with "open inbox" which, when clicked on, opens the complete email window for normal operations. Now, when I click on either spot, the web page image flickers, but no email. I've gone to TOOLS, opened Compatibility and find no "ON" there...I did add Comcast.net to the Xfinity.com listing I've gone to Internet Options and Deleted everything listed except cookies and browsing history...four webcaches are listed at zero and no temporary files. I cannot locate any info regardind uninstalling and reinstalling Xfinity if that can be done to start anew. My apologies for the length, but this novice has abjectly failed and I'm not sure if Comcast tell me if it is my computer, or not. Oh yes, forgot to note that the Xfinity website functions in all other aspects. I'd appreciate any help I can get.

When you navigate to the Inbox page in Chrome, are you not seeing this?--------------------------

Click on General and you should see the option to switch from Full to Lite.  It will save automatically.  Then go back to the email.

Re: Can't access Xfinity email.

Try clearing out your browser's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close out the browser and re-start it in a fresh session.

If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser and see if you can duplicate the problem that way. If it works OK then you will know the problem probably lies with the first browser. eg: if you are using Internet Explorer, try Chrome or Firefox.

Also, you could try switching from the Full version of Xfinity Connect to the Lite version. Go to Preferences>>>>General, and see which one you're using now. Full is the default. Select the Lite version.

If you are using IE 10 or 11, make sure Compatibility mode is enabled for comcast.net. You will find it in IE under "Tools".

Re: Can't access Xfinity email.

I changed to Chrome. Never found the preferences general to select full or lite. The change in browser at least gets me to the e-mail, but I'm no fan of Chrome, it seems, im my opinion, more complicated than IE...Other than that, I really appreciate your quick response that got me "functioning" again. Very glad the forums, and you, Latoque, are there.
