Can send message to myself, but can't send externally

Received new Windows 10 PC. Installed  MozillaThunderbird mail client. Didn't work at first, so configured email account according to this: http://customer.xfinity.com/help-and-support/internet/setting-up-thunderbird/

Can send test message to self and receive it.  When trying to send anywhere else, I'm not getting any timeouts or failures -- it says successfully sent and is in Sent folder.  Yet it never reaches the recipient. Any ideas?

On the Mail Account Setup screen, selections for IMAP, SMTP and SSL have been made in the Server hostname section.

Re: Can send message to myself, but can't send externally

When you say you sent a test message to yourself, do you mean you sent it to your own Comcast email address, or did you send it to another account you may have like Yahoo, Gmail or something else?
