Blocking unwanted e mails

Blocking unwanted e mails

For the past half hour I have been searching for a link, icon or any access to manage my e mails. I am getting too many unwanted ads, request and political e mails and can't find a simple " Block E mail" connection.

Please advise.

Re: Blocking unwanted e mails

Two things to do.

First make sure you have a Spam Filtering on.  Report all spam as spam by clicking on the spam icon on the toolbar after you open an email that turns out to be spam.

If you are receiving spam from the exact, same email address, you can create an email filter to block that email address.

Open the Inbox and click on Preferences

Now click on the Email icon

A new window opens, showing all of your email settings.

Scroll down to Spam Filter and make sure it is enabled

Next:  To create an email filter to block a specific email address...

Scroll down yo Email a Filter and open it.

A new window opens where you type in the email address to block, etc.

If you need more help, post back.
