After upgrading to Windows 10, how do I get the audio to work?

Check the driver for your audio device.... sometimes Windows10 upgrades load a default driver and this may not be comaptible for your audio.... try going into windows Update again, and if nothing there, then go to the audio device manufacturer's website and look for an updated Windows10 driver there....
on the bottom right hand side of your primary monitor you should see the date and time, next to that, to the left, will be a speaker icon. right click it. then select playback devices. a window will pop with all the supported audio devices you have connected to your pc. select the device you want now and badda-boom-badda-bing, sound! if your pc is connected via hdmi or displayport you can choose that monitor/tv to play sound from. if you a have a speaker set up, choose that. or if you have a usb headset you can choose that as well. just make sure you make the default device, but feel free to change the default device as you see fit
