I cannot make an attachment to my emails.  Never had a problem before.

Re: Attachment

Exactly what happens when you try?  Are you getting any kind of error message?

Re: Attachment

When I hit the yellow attachment button the button fades to a lighter yellow. There is a note that says maximum size of message is 25 mb.  Also if I put the arrow over the yellow button again it turns into a red circle with a red slash through it.

Re: Attachment

It's telling you the message is too big, which includes any attachments, the body of the email, the headers, etc.  How big is the attachment you're trying to send?

Re: Attachment

Intiially it was a Word file of 2 pages in 12 point font. So I tried to attach a one page scan and still had a problem.  I've done this numerous times and never had a problem

Re: Attachment

Try clearing out your browser's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close out the browser and re-start it in a fresh session.

If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser and see if you can duplicate the problem that way. If it works OK then you will know the problem probably lies with the first browser. eg: if you are using Internet Explorer, try Chrome or Firefox.

If you are using IE 10 or 11, make sure Compatibility mode is enabled for comcast.net. You will find it in IE under "Tools".

You need to try these things even if only to eliminate them as the possible cause of the problem.

Re: Attachment

I did try using a different browser (Chrome) and was able to send the attachment. I cleared the history in Explorer about 3 weeks ago so I did not try that again but I guess I should do it aga
