Attaching documents to emails to be sent.

I am having difficulty attaching documents to emails to be sent.

In the compose window, click on Attachments on the toolbar.  A new window opens, click on BROWSE and go to where you have the documents stored. Click on the document ( or picture) to highlight it, then click on OPEN.  Now you will be back in the compose window and will see the attachment as a blue link right above the email.

Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.

I was advised to go to Google Chrome. This helps sometimes, sometimes not. Still having the problem.
