Attach and open an email attachment

How can I open an attachment added to an email message I need to send. I need to verify it's readable by the recipient.

Re: Attach and open an email attachment

You can preview image files like .png or jpeg, but there is no way to open any kind of document file once it's attached.  You would need to open it on your computer for that.  I'm assuming you are on the new email format.  In the old format you can download the file from the Compose page and view it that way.

Re: Attach and open an email attachment

This is BIG problem for me.  When I spoke to Comcast this week about it, for the 4th or 5th time, I was finally told that there is no way to preview the attachment once you have it attached to the email you are composing.  This is a "known" problem and if enough people call and complain, it will move up on the priority list to fix.
