Associating old Comcast e-mail account with current Comcast service

Got weird e-mail from Xfinity saying congratulations, you can still use your Comcast e-mail address even though you're leaving us - but I'm not leaving you.  Have just had this original Comcast e-mail account for forever, and use it even though we've moved several times, and I'm sure my current account has some other Comcast e-mail associated with it.  So how do I figure out what my current real e-mail address is, and associate my old e-mail account with the current one?

Think of the old email address as a free standing email account, just like if you have a Yahoo, Gmail or some other account.  Unless you did an actual transfer when you moved, it's no longer associated with any active Comcast account.  Your new email address consists of the new user ID you set up to sign in with, and then just tack on @Comcast.net and you should be able to access the new Inbox.
