All emails prior to 4/30/2015 are missing

Recently logged in (from a pc via internet/comcast homepage) and found that all emails in my Inbox dated as received prior to 4/30/2015 were gone. I checked my email preferences and they are unchanged, showing "Never" delete read emails. My email continues to use less than 2GB of space. I attempted to recover deleted email from "Trash" but no emails prior to December 2015 are listed to recover. Any suggestions?

Do you have the account enabled on another device like a smartphone or tablet that may have downloaded them and then deleted them from the server?

No, none of my other devices are set up to synchronize in that fashion.  When I delete an email from my iPad or android device it does not delete the same email on the comcast server.  Thank you.

Then in this case--------------

As a precaution change your password to something stronger than whatever it is right now, and also change your secret question and answer. Suddenly vanishing emails is a common sign of a malware infection, or a compromised account. Run a complete scan of your machine with your A/V software to see if it finds anything wrong.  You could also call Comcast security and ask them to look at your account------------------
