Advertisements on email

I've noticed almost daily advertisements in my email messages. I don't want them, nor did I authorize them, so how do I get rid of them. I've moved them to spam, then sent request to cancel still keep coming. I'm afraid that sending my email address may validate it and cause more to come. Me thinks Xfinity may be allowing them and if so I'm angry and I will change my email. any help is appreciated

Re: Advertisements on email

ALL ISP'S constantly fight the battle with spam.

Make sure you have your span filter on.

Always report span on the toolbar to help the filters learn what is spam.

Don't open obvious spam in your Inbox, report it, then delete it.
