Adress Bokk won't work

Email address book doesn't work.  When I attempt to set up an email, I get the screen that I have to log in.  I'm in, obviously.  IT'S BEEN GOING ON FOR 5 MONTHS!  Ever since we changed to Xfinity.  I am continually told it will be fixed.  Email has been in use for over 25 YEARS!  Why can't comcast figure out how to give me an address book feature?
