10 year old user profile email no longer works

I created a new user email around 10 years ago to use for creating online accounts that require an email to register or log in. A few years ago I started recieving randon emails from places I had no previous contact with but it was very few and they stopped after some time. I just recently needed to retrieve a password from one of those accounts and they said they were sending an email to my . I never recieved it. I tested it and can no longer recieve emails to that email. How can I recover this email? is someone else using the same email, like I have heard was happening with comcast?

If the account has been paid all along, that user ID should still be there and usable.  To see what it should be, use this tool----------------

https://login.comcast.net/myaccount/lookup

Have you tried sending an email to your Comcast account from some other email provider you use like Yahoo or Gmail etc?  Does it go through OK?  Have you checked the Spam folder to see if the missing email went there?
