Voice during phone conversations drop

I had Comcast phone and internet put in last week. Already had cable, so I bundled.  Ever since then, I have had a problem with my phone calls.  The sound drops whenever I or the other party is speaking. I had a tech come out today and he claims nothing is wrong.  All he did was reset the modem, which did absolutely nothing. I'm extremely frustrated. How can I resolve this issue?
