NO PHONE AFTER STORM TORE ELECTRIC SERVICE OFF HOUSE. PHONE LINE WAS NOT BROKEN.

NO PHONE AFTER STORM TORE ELECTRIC SERVICE OFF HOUSE. PHONE LINE WAS NOT BROKEN.

AFTER REPLACING POWER SERVICE TO MY HOME, I FOUND OUT THAT THE PHONE LINE WAS NOT WORKING. I CALLED THIS MORNING AND TRIED THE SUGGESTED REPAIR OVER THE INTERNET. NOTHING WORKED AND IT WAS SUGGESTED THAT I REPLACE THE PHONE CORD. THIS DOES NOT MAKE  ANY SENSE TO ME. NOTHING WAS DONE TO IT!

Plug a phone directly into the modem and see if it works. If yes, then there is a wiring problem. If no, then powercycle the modem. If you still get no joy, you'll probably need a tech to sort it out.

PS Please stop writing in all caps - it's considered rude and shouting.
