Issue Porting Number

For about 3 months now I've been trying to get an old phone number activated. I was finally able to get the number on an active account with Windstream and have attempted porting the number. It has been over a week now (well past the recommended waiting time) and the number is still not working. The number rings non-stop when calling it, I am assuming it's still active with Windstream. I have reached out to live chat support, but honestly I've come to the end of my patience with live chat and attempting to communicate my issue with phone representatives. I understand requesting help here may take longer, but I am confident it will actually be resolved, thank you.

 

In conclusion: I am porting a number from Windstream and have had no luck with live chat or phone support. Please reach out to me in a PM if you need further information.

 

Edit: I've worked in telecommunications for many years, supervising and customer-facing as technical support for phone and internet. Please do not spare any details or technicalities when explaining to me why the port has not completed. Also, the rate centers do match, I've had the number at this address before.
