Call History/Calls Placed

My call history show calls I did not make. I changed ALL my passwords at the suggestion of Comcast customer security assurance.  

Call  history still shows these calls from 530 206 1800 and 530 240 4092 made between 1am and 7am.  When I call these numbers I get a FAX tone.  

This is completely unacceptable.  Comcast needs to research and make it stop!  Someone is using my unlimited phone service to make fa

Hi kchoskinson. I would like to assist with the call logs showing calls you did not make. I have sent a refresh through to your call log information. Please check to see if the information is still showing erroneous calls.

Are these calls inbound from those numbers?

Thank you  for your concern.  The calls show that I placed them.  I did not.  They are "outbound" calls.

The calls are not gone.  They still  show up every morning between midnight and 7 am.  I never placed outbound calls to 530 206 1800 and 530 240 4092.

Ah I see, this sounds like "Caller ID Spoofing", where your phone number is being used by another third party entity to spoof their actual phone number with yours. I can certainly check our SIP network for these calls that your call log states you made, in order to validate this? If proven, unfortunately there would be nothing that we could do to find or stop the third party entity. 

 

I would just need the specific date and time of the calls you see in your logs that you did not make. 

 

I'd be happy to help as much as I can.
