ARRIS SVG2482AC Internet, voice and WiFi questions

ARRIS SVG2482AC Internet, voice and WiFi questions

Will Comcast allow/approve this modem to go to the advertised speeds of 1750 mbps?

If so does it require any special telephone support to activate?

Will it work with the xFi app?

Will xFi pods work with this modem or only the Comcast model?

i like having the 4 Ethernet plugs for hardwired connection.

Lastly, since it looks and seems like the TG1682G, maybe I don’t need the Arris version, if this unit can get gigs speeds?

In order
No, it won’t get approved. Just because the modem can do the speed, it’s not Comcast approved for over 642mps and it’s not a docsis 3.1 Device.
It won’t work with the XFi app or the Pods.

Will the current model, TG1682G get the giga speeds?

Nope, it’s not rated for that either. You would need an XB6 for any speed over 250
