Phone not working after I got this wireless gateway modem.  The phone is plugged directly into the back of the modem the clock is correct on the phone but there is no dial tone

Have you activated the phone service on your gateway?

 

Activating Your Equipment Over the Phone

 

  1. Call 1-855-OK-BEGIN (1-855-652-3446).
  2. While on the line for telephone activation, you will need:
    • The phone number associated with your account.
    • The last four digits of the equipment serial number(s).
    • The location of the equipment (living room, bedroom, etc.).
